Your-self, is safe with me.

I don't think I know anyone who doesn't just want to be their true self. No matter the circle of co-workers, friends, family or maybe the person in front of you in the coffee line-most of us just want to walk in the truth of who we are- never making ourselves smaller for the protection of those around us or boasting on dreams not yet manifested for validity. Or even hiding the current trial in our life behind fake smiles, sarcasm and a happy hour margarita. Just plain ol' honest in mind and tongue and free from all pretenses. To be true, to be sincere.

And boy, would I love to sit in the eye of the hurricane. To be completely grounded whilst the debris of life revolve around me, still present, yet unaffected- royal in stance and calm in heart. We may not think on it much, but our inner beings yearn for the calm in the storm...a paralytic peace in knowing that our world may change but we will remain untainted through an unwavering faith in the serenity of who we know we are.

And while the comfort of our confidence can be more than enough to keep us uplifted and steadfast in mindset...I also don't think I know anyone who is okay to be alone. To stand alone. To live life without connection. He created Eve for companionship. We all need not only a friend, but a true bond with those we come from and those we move forward with. We crave the space to share ourselves wholly without judgement or demeaning minds. To just-be, in heart and mind -willing ourselves to draw like- minded people within our circle for security, release and solidarity.

I hope you find it all here...

I hope each post brings even just a remnant of pleasure in knowing, seeing even, that you are not alone. Whether it be in motherhood, your marriage, friendships or your personal season of growth...I hope you feel seen. I hope you feel heard, and I hope you continue this journey with me to not only find, but to maintain self in sincerity, serenity and solidarity.
